本セミナーでは、理論的および実践的な観点からCLILとは何かを紹介します。セッションでは、CLIL教育法がどのように生まれ、世界各地のさまざまな教育レベルで普及してきたかについて概説します。また、研究者や実践者からのデータをもとに、日本、特に大学レベルにおけるCLILの発展について議論します。講演者が自ら関与した上智大学のCLILカリキュラムの事例研究を紹介します。さらに、参加者はインタラクティブなミニCLIL授業を体験し、CLILの教育アプローチを分析し、その経験を振り返り、自身の教育実践においてCLIL教育法のどの側面を取り入れることができるかを検討する機会を得ます。 

This seminar will introduce what CLIL is from both theoretical and practical points of view. The session will outline how CLIL pedagogy originated and spread around the world in different levels for education. The development of CLIL in Japan, especially at university level will be discussed, referring to data coming from researchers and practitioners. A case study of Sophia University CLIL curriculum will be introduced, with the establishment of which the speaker was personally involved. Further, participants will experience an interactive mini CLIL lesson, giving them a chance to analyze the CLIL pedagogical approaches, reflect on their experience and examine which aspects of CLIL pedagogy they might consider using in their teaching practice.

英語による専門科目（EMI）の授業を担当している、または担当を検討している大学教員、および英語教育に携わる教員 

 University faculty teaching, or considering teaching, field-specific subject in English (EMI) and faculty involved in English language education
